Hi all, trying to rush program a ton of channels in a radioshack pro-93 scanner I just picked up cheap before this weekend's nascar races and I have a question. It seems like when manually going through channels I can only go from 000 to 029. I downloaded a manual, it's no help it looks like the other however many radioshack scanners I have or have had. I have one pro-93 programmed for local police and fire and all, I forget if that one will go above 029 or not or if I even programmed that much in in the first place. I really have to do this tonight or tomorrow I'm packing up Thursday. No big deal if I can't get it I can just short myself some stuff with my old pro-91 but I really wanted the 300 channels to put everything in. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong? It seems if I let it scan to the channels above 029 and hit manual I can program on the channel it stops on but I can't seem to figure out how to just go 30,31, 32, 33, etc. Any help is appreciated. thanks, John

I know how to turn banks on and off while scanning, that works. I'm having problems getting past bank 1 manually for some reason. It scans those banks if I do manage to get there by hitting it lucky when I stop scanning but if I go through manually it won't go bast 029. I hate to reset it and start over but if I don't have an answer by the time I go to the radio room tomorrow night I suppose I'll have to.

Try hitting "Manual - 1-0-0--Manual " to go to channel 100. (Bank 1 channel 00)

OR Manual 2-1-7 Manual to got to bank 2 channel 17, etc.

OK, I get it now, 3 digit number = bank then 2 digit channel. I got it now, thanks so much. I wasn't rapping my very over tired brain around that but I have it now. Now, tomorrow night I'll finish programming it up and be good to go. Thanks so much.
