Folks, starting this week (or even today) as time permits, I'll be revamping the statewide railroad database. I think I'll be using the format we went with in Wyoming:
http://www.radioreference.com/apps/db/?aid=5770
I know there is a large submission in the queue and while I am working on the database, the railroad section will be in "flux" so-to-speak so please refrain from submitting information until it settles down. I'll use this thread for updates and if someone see's something amiss, please post here.
At this point as the listings are pretty much in shambles, I might kill it completely and start fresh from known good information so don't be worried.
It will be listed in the following manner: Class 1, Regional, Shortline, Terminal, Museum/Tourist and in alphabetical order. I will also list the subdivisions in alphabetical order to make life a little easier and when possible by milepost so it will read easier for those who visit the area and for some continuity.
There will be duplicated frequencies and for those with DB aware scanners I apologize but I have found for the majority of DB users it works the best in the overall scheme of things.
Please feel free to post comments/complaints/concerns in this thread and keep is civil.
