The updated data base for the railroads in Wyoming looks great! I believe it's 'Orin' Sub, not "Orion Sub', though...

Yeah...work in progress. I think I might do Colorado the same style as BNSF here in Wyoming and convert everything over the same way. I forgot that I did the BN the way I did in Wyoming and I think I like that look better.

So vote time Wyoming...would you like to see the railroads listed as they are BNSF style or the UP sytle? The Burlington Northern section will be coming down with the change as everything was incorporated under the current bnsf list.

I forgot to add, look at Colorado's. I did everything the "up" way there. I think it looks good for the amount of information.

Hmmmmm...

I find that both ways are pretty good in that each one has it's own type of `searchablity' depending upon what one may be looking for at a particular time. (IE: If one is looking for only a couple specific locations to `cut-n-paste' quickly VS another form of quick `cut-n-paste' of the whole `range' of freqs in use? [In other words loading up a few freqs in a generally unused programable scanner, maybe for `loaner' for, someone who isn't a `scanaholic/foamer', VS grabbing the whole shebang and loading it into one of the newer programable scanners as part of, lessay, a new `V-Scanner' that is going to get `massaged' for more frequent use?])

The former `example' would be like my loading up one of my older scanners for use by my cousins who were out for a visit and didn't have their own scanner. I could just do the quick `cut-n-paste' of the mainly needed freqs and turn them loose. The latter `example' could be where I was making up a `V-Scanner' for someone who already had a `V-Scanner' capable scanner but was getting a bit more interested in `foaming' and was going to probably doing a lot more than my cousins. (And... Yes! I *do* know and have some other ways to `program' scanners but, sometimes it can help `teach' sometimes. [Admitted wan voice of experience from almost 50yrs of scanning. {GRIMACE!}])

Anyway... Again, THANKS for all the work you've been doing PJH!

I updated the railroad listing today. Location information was added for DB/GPS/Location based scanners so those should work better now. I do need those in the better know on what in the BN field needs to be migrated to which sub in the BNSF listing.

I know channel designations have changed since the BN days and not sure what has been reallocated, discontinued or current. If someone in BN land in the northern part of the state can help in sorting the info out that would be great.

Also added location information for the BNSF stuff. If someone is familiar with the territories and the circle doens't fit in the middle, please drop a line in this thread so I can adjust the range information. RRDB hasn't implented the "rectange" format yet so some of the ranges need to be rather large. I attempted to do end point to end point for the subdivisions.
