i have been told that all BLM fire units
i will be used one one of three command channels
for fire command operations
i have told that wyoming will be useing these channels

My job is excellent. I’m getting more involved with the field that deals with what I’m wanting to do as a career. The only problem I’ve come up with is knowing that there are people out there listening to all the mistakes (the one or two of them) I’ve made. But that's what I've been doing for the last 10 years myself (scanner listening). I'll let you know as time goes on how it goes, and will inform you Wyoming'ers with info about large fires in my zone.

And I’m starting a list of freqs now.

My zone actually just got a 120 acre fire today, so some channels to be listening to in the Natrona County are Rawlins BLM 168.275 (for mostly dispatch to scene communications), Fern 154.28, there should be a helicopter onscene in the afternoon saturday and they will probably be talking on WY initial attac 170.225 or 168.675. I'm sure there will be some more to listen too, but since i'm far away i'm not sure of all the tac freqs that groups may be using. This should be fun to monitor. Have fun.

sure we can do that. I've a nice little book that gives a pages and pages to how all the BLM radios are programmed. So all the frequencies they pretty much use I've. I promise I'll get a list posted when I get the chance.
