Heard on online scanner they set up 8tac96 or atac96 What freq is that?

That's a good question. Current RR DB only lists up to 94

The Northeast Region UASI was activated so they have a UTAC8 which is 454.6250

They did mention that they were activating 8TAC96 and if I were to make an educated guess based on the incrementing frequencies in that group, 95 and 96 would be the following.:

8TAC95 853.51250
8TAC96 854.01250

Didnt hear that But the EMS & Hospital Talkgroups were extremely busy this morning from all agencies across the state from at least 1 hr away as well as closer to the scene. As well at the NJ Transit Police talkgroups .

8TAC95 = ITAC5
8TAC96 = ITAC6

They renamed the channels to match the 8TAC** nomenclature that is in use - same goes with the UTAC's. Remember NJ has a bunch of "extra" channels that are not nationwide but built out in UASI counties. If you found the UTAC they were on you found the 8TAC as they were patched together.
