Radio Shack and Realistic produced many different VHF weather radios for NOAA broadcasts in the 162.4 - 162.55 MHz band. Most will remember the "WeatherCube", a small, box-like receiver with the faux-woodgrain sides. The one below is not the Weathercube but is one that was offered in RS catalogs, the Model 12-156. Just acquired a second-hand one and am in the process of restoring it. Nowadays, wx radios have really advanced. Do/did you have any weather radios for daily/emergency use? Tnx and 73's.

I still have and use the Weathercube you mentioned. The single button on top has aged from white to a yellow color, and the foam that holds the 9 volt battery in place fell apart years ago, but it still works as a good weather receiver.
