I've never built a radio case before, so I thought I'd give it a try. I still need to layout everything and mount the hardware, but in a loose state everything seems to work great! I'm excited to actually take it out.

Here's the hardware...

Next step is to convert this to a native 12V power supply to reduce the A/C bulk. Then hopefully I can get the wiring layout looking good, then I can mount everything.

Capital idea! But, my interested is mitigitaged by, um, what's this cost?

As far as a case goes, I'd probably have built it into a Pelican with 3D-printed internal structure to keep everything in place, and environmental connectors to the outside world (if I'm going to blow that much coin to make something, I'm going to make it so it can be thrown into a deep puddle, run over by a 5-ton truck, fished, out, swirled in a swimming pool to rinse it off, and kicked right into gear. That's a lot of gear to not put some serious physical engineering into as well. . .)
