I just received my new SDS200 today, ordered yesterday. :)
On my 536, I would sometimes receive the P25 II simulcast system in the next county. Reception was spotty at best, only 1 or 2 bars or not at all.
The reception of this system now is 4 or 5 bands and loud and clear! It is amazing. Has any one else noticed if this radio is more sensitive on Phase II?
Needless to say, I am pleased!

It's not really a sensitivity thing, so much as being able to sort through the multiple signals on the same frequency you get with simulcast, and convert them to bits with few errors. The 536 can detect a signal if you program the frequency as analog, it just can't decode anything useful from it the way the SDS100 does. On non-simulcast traffic, their performance is pretty similar.

Glad to hear your satisfaction. That's why Uniden made the SDS series to handle simulcast systems after their other radios had difficulties with simulcast distortion.

Congratulations!
