Hi all,

I have had scanners for a long time now, and just got the Uniden BC346XT. The more I learn, the cooler I think it would be to record my scanner so that I could share it with others and listen to it later.
My question is: Is there a device that I can hook up to my scanner's headphone jack and it will record the audio it receives? I don't want to spend $ on another scanner just to hook up to my computer for recording.
Thanks!!

Yes, a voice-activated tape recorder. You can get them for about $10 on eBay.

Thank you! I just realized that I have a recorder that might work for this! Thanks again!

I would get a digital recorder. Make sure it has some type of VOX feature so your recordings don't have a bunch of dead air. The other nice thing compared to analogue tape recordings is you can hook them up to the USB port and/or use an SD card and offload the mp3 directly to your computer.
