I am not an electronics Savy , I have Direct TV sattelite and a 60" Sharp HD TV and a DVR , is there any kind of DVD recorder that I can purchase and program and record from the TV onto a dvd or a USB or Card and do away with the rental of the DVR and not have control of my recording , I used to enjoy my VHS recorder before the DVD technology came out , maybe have it wireless and record directly unto a DVD from my computer (Just a thought )
