In Discover mode, it will record audio for conventional channels, or trunked system talkgroups) up to 600 seconds (that's set in the options). However, if you have the session set to compare to the database, it skips recording known frequencies or talkgroups. So, set 'compare' to No. The log will still differentiate between known & unknown, but it will record all as long as compare is set to no.

Once recordings for a specific TGID or channel have reached 600 seconds, the session will still log additional hits, but will not keep recording.

After you end your Discovery session, you can either playback the audio captured directly on the scanner, or, with the scanner in mass storage mode, you can download your log and recordings into Sentinel for review.

Press MENU. Scroll to Discovery(E) > Conventional Discovery(E) > Choose session Name(E) > Set Record Duration(E) Set to any duration of your choice other than "none"
