Red Cross activation?

Just heard voices loud and clear in Williston on 47.42, CTCSS 146.2, mentioned moving something and then that was it. I don't see anything in local news about any incidents where they would be active. Never heard any traffic on this frequency in this area before.

Hmm, perhaps, though I don't know if they would send enough resources there to justify inter-vehicular comms...I am fairly certain that is what I heard. I've been involved in several large incidents during my time in VT, and the Red Cross response was always one vehicle.

Are you sure what you heard was local? This time of year is the second sporadic E season. It could have been somewhere else.
