Why is it that my pro-96 won't pickup okc fire I do have win96 arc96

OKC fire is EDACS Pro-voice which means no scanner can hear them. OKC PD has talk groups that transmit the Pro-voice police coms on the OKWINS 800 state system as they convert the pro-voice to analog mode.
At least that is how I understand it.

ok i have tried conv,edacs i have also load'd up the list from rr nothing seems to work why is that someone explain this to me and yes i do know they are provoice .

ProVoice is not scannable by any consumer scanner. Period. You can get some of the PD dispatch stuff that is patched to the state system - by programming in the state system (Motorola).

Your scanner will NOT decode them. If it stops on a freq at all, it will sound like a modem or fax machine, not a voice.
