Regency MX-4200

Back in the mid-1980s, AOR made the Regency MX-4000 and later on the MX-4200 scanners. Each of these scanners has an internal NiCad battery pack that recharges when the unit is plugged in a power source. Does anyone know a good source where I can obtain a replacement battery pack at for once of these units?

AOR should be able to advise you. AORUK generally seem more knowledgable than the other offices. In the UK a source for battery packs is:

I have an mx4200. Unless your model is different, I was able to install 4-nicad batteries. Unit has been working fine for over 2 years.

Mine has pack for four nicad betteries that are connected via 9-volt battery cable to another cable. I am almost half tempted to just build my own pack of batteries and buy a connector to match-up with the one inside my scanner.
