Regency MX7000 Power Cord

Anyone know where I can come up with a power cord for the Regency MX 7000? If I can’t find one, I’m gonna end up having to replace the whole jack. I did discover it has a three AA back up pack for the memory. I’ll end up replacing that too.

I was going through some old posts, and found that the old Hayes modem power supplies fit. So I got to looking on eBay and found one. Also went to Amazon and got a rechargeable battery pack for the memory.

I had kept my MX7000 a while after I stopped using it and had lost the power cable by the time I rediscovered it in a box as I was moving. By then I had lost the power cable. I replaced the weird 3-pin jack on the back with a standard coaxial power jack like Uniden scanners used. I found a panel-mount jack at Radio Shack then, I am sure they are still available on Amazon etc.

Happy you found one but remember that power connector is fragile so you might need to replace it someday.
