R6 Remote Control / Logging Software

Does the R6 support remote control / logging? If so, what software exists to do this.

I am using autowrite to search a few frequency ranges but would love to program some frequencies in and see if they are active.

I don't think it does support remote control.

ARC6 offers programming only, no remote option.

ICOM says the R6 supports CI-V control capability with optional CT-17. I believe you can also do this with the programming cable to control the radio or buy/make a simple CT-17 cable interface.
