Hello,
Hello,
Have a PSR 500.
Wish to use it for now, and indefinitely, as a base unit and not portable.
My thought was to remove the batteries as it seemed "safer" without the possibility of
overcharging, having the unit warmer than it need be due to the continual charging, etc.
Then I remembered reading a long time ago that some battery operated electronic gadgets require their batteries to be in due to the extra capacitance, and filtering, they provide. Don't remember for what, or where I read it, unfortunately.
What's the best bet in your opinions: just remove all the batteries, or... ?
Thanks,
Bob
