Sounds like there's some changes happening. Been hearing some testing going on lately. Here's what I've got so far.

154.665 (Current analog paging/fireground channel)
CC 8
Talkgroups 1001, and 1002 which I've heard referenced as TAC 2.

Since moving from Renfrew CACC dispatch to Brockville Fire Dispatch, this is the first major change in the radio system in many many years.

With Renfrew, McNab-Braeside (soon to be) and the Town of Arnprior fire depts. all now dispatched from Brockville, there could be a trend happening by going with a DMR system.

I am noticing incidents in testing where it shows up on screen as DT3, I have it programmed as an original conventional channel. Everything comes through no problems that way. However programmed as a DMR OFT I am noticing I am missing transmissions. How do I program it properly then as a DT3 system? Do I program it as a MotoTRBO trunk system instead? This being in a 436HP and an SDS 200

Ya program it just like you do for a TRBO system.

A DT3 system would be trunked with a control channel. Chances are your scanner is falsely decoding it as DT3.

An OFT system would be the proper way to do it but if you're missing transmissions, programming it in as a conventional channel will work although you can't separate out the various groups on the system.

Ok, well I'll try that again. I don't hear any control channel noise. Any reason for missed transmissions? I don't see them using any other frequencies for this.
