Replacement Parts ? ? ?

Has anyone ever attempted to purchase any replacement parts for a RS scanner. I'm interested in purchasing a belt clip and an additional yellow rechargeable battery holder for a pro-97. I inquired at my local shack and they looked at me like I was speaking a different language. The response I got was , " I dont think so".

It seems to me that RS is one of the ones that NEEDS to go out of business. I have had no problem at my local RS getting any replacement parts for any scanner. They have special access to the RS parts dept through the web. We cant access it but they can with a special code. You pay for it right there and get a sales slip with all the info on it. Tell them to get off their lazy butts and learn something about their RS store.

I've noticed that alot of employees don't know that they can pull up a list of orderable parts from the store's homepage. Most employees (actually all of them in my store expect for me) call into headquarters to have someone else pull it up on their computer, and relay the information back to them. What should take seconds takes minutes.
