Reprogramming Bearcat 250D

Hi there,

Found an Uniden Bearcat 250D and it is working, but doesn't seem to be picking anything up. I don't know much about scanners - does anyone know someone who reprograms these guys or is it too old to bother with?

Depends on what you want to listen to. If you have the digital card there are some digital systems you will be able to listen to.

Where are you located? What systems are in your area? What type of things do you want to listen to?

ProScan can be used to program the scanner and can get frequencies from here on RR if you are a premium member.

Here is some info about software and you can see that some software programs can be used for multiple scanner models if you decide to upgrade to a newer scanner in the future.
