Are you asking about the software needed to stream? The "hardware" is just an audio cable.

Here is a picture of my rack holding IRLP node 2410 and one of my online scanners. The IRLP node is a Dell PII 300mhz with a G.E. Pheonix link radio and an Astron SL-11A power supply. The stream machine is a Compaq PI 133mhz with 48megs of ram running Windows 2000 and using Simplecast for the encoder and Al Klein's Metadata Generator for the text tags. The scanner is a Uniden BC245XLT and all including the router and modem is connected to a APC UPS 1000.
