OK guys,.... all you out there in Mississippi that have scanners, and travel,.. or have friends with scanners and computers,.. send in any info on systems that you have that is not in the DB for MS. I am interested in CTCSS/DCS (PL/DPL) on systems, accurate usage (ex: 155.5200 - Police Dispatch), any info on TRS's in your area,... one county I really want current info on is Hancock- I need info on everything... What is the Sheriff's Office using, EOC.....Local PD's...... According to the FCC there is no SO lol... are they on a SMR, or on an expired liscense?????

Hancock County SO is listed in the 42mhz band, HOWEVER I travel through there all the time on my way to Picayune and have seen their patrol cars up close. All of them have a single VHF-HI 5/8 wave antenna. So that leads me to believe they're using VHF-HI. Still unable to find them scanning.

There's certainly traffic on there, and it's a repeater. I was driving around today (Biloxi) and monitoring it and began to hear two males talking on it. But didn't get the chance to listen closely. One day soon I'll make a trip over there and see what I can hear.
