Looking for a RF switch (1 output/2 inputs) in the range of 350-450MHz (+/-), preferrably 19" rackmount with N-connectors and DC switched (12V).

Is there such a thing? (My search in the net didn't bring any results)

That would be an antenna relay, and should be easy to find.

Hi all,

Here we go again with more misinformation, forget the hacks, ain't no such thing. That's why the search drew a blank. To switch RF and low voltage at the same time gets complicated and the "how to" is a bit much to post here especially since no details of the need are given.

A perfectly good VHF/UHF coaxial switch (not a coax switch) may be had from any Amateur Radio equipment dealer. They come in two and four position models, SO-239 or N connector types are available.

As for rack mounting, look into Collins, Waters or Bird but they're VERY expensive.

Not sure how you read it, I red it as teh 12V did the switching, as in a relay.

Either way. Feed 12 vdc to the input coax (choke-cap isolated, of course) and pick it off the switched coax, if that's what he meant. It works very well at UHF (see "mast mounted amplifier :)).

When you assume you make an ASS out of U in front of ME, ASS U ME.

Let's wait for Raccoon to explain before jumping to concussions.
