Hello Paul and everyone. Out of the blue, my RH-96 remote head has begun flashing a "Processing, Please Wait" message every few seconds while connected to my 396xt, alternating with normal display information. I've tried the memory/factory default reset with no effect, checked all connections, etc. Could my control cable suddenly become faulty? The 396xt works perfectly while connected to my desktop PC via the USB control cable -- normal virtual-scanner display via ProScan.
Do I need to send the RH-96 in for repair, order a replacement cable (my likely first move), or is there another remedy I might try?
