I plan on visiting RI this summer.

1. How active is this system? (RITERN)

2. Are the State Police using it in addition to their conventional system?

3. Is North Kingstown still using conventional freqs or have they transitioned to RITERN?
I don't see info for this town PD/FD in RadRef database.

Reasonably active especially Narragansett.

2. Are the State Police using it in addition to their conventional system?

If they are, their talkgroups are encrypted so cannot confirm.

3. Is North Kingstown still using conventional freqs or have they transitioned to RITERN?
I don't see info for this town PD/FD in RadRef database.

They were on their own frequencies as of Sunday.
