The major difference is that the law-abiding gun owners (even if some of them do have "wannabe" syndrome and like to dress up funny) aren't running around smashing windows, setting fires, throwing things at police and looting. Most of them don't run around masked to hide their identity, either.

Is it kind of silly to parade around looking like that and toting every gun you own? Yes, but it's generally legal.

There were about 200 BLM tactical wannabes at Stone Mountain in Atlanta dressed out all in black looking all tactical, but they did have AR15's. They don't have a clue to what would really happen if the shooting started with the Army National Guard. Remember this is not the ANG of the 60's where they did basic training and played cards at the armory once a month. The modern Army National Guard is manned by very professional soldiers who have deployed to the Middle East 2 or 3 times in their careers. They are the real deal, not dress up BLM wannabe tough types.
