River Vale FD & EMS Dispatch

I just noticed that River Vale FD and River Vale EMS are now being dispatched by the Northwest Bergen Central Dispatch Center - NWBCD (located in Ridgewood). I suspect that Old Tappan FD and Old Tappan EMS are also being dispatched by NWBCD? What about River Vale PD and Old Tappan PD?

Yes as of July 1, Central Dispatch took over 911 and dispatch services for both towns. I would imagine they have a NXDN radio for Rivervale DPW.

I listen to 158.76 in full CTCSS (100.0) and can clearly hear the dispatcher's audio, but I no longer hear the alert tones. Was that done by NWBCD on purpose (transmitting the alert tones without encoding a CTCSS tone)?

So, let me see if I've got this straight. Northwest Bergen Central Dispatch now dispatches the River Vale and Old Tappan emergency medical services, police and fire departments, in addition to:

Glen Rock PD FD and EMS
Montvale PD and FD
New Milford EMS (or HNH EMS, when covering) and FD
Oradell FD
Park Ridge PD and FD
Ridgewood PD FD EMS and OEM
River Edge FD
TriBoro EMS
Woodcliff Lake PD and FD

And, in addition, they're the PSAP for all of those jurisdictions plus Franklin Lakes and Rutherford.

I'm almost positive I'm missing somebody from that list.

KC2ZZE, correct. PSAP/PSDP for the aforementioned agencies. You are correct for the other muni's they answer 9-1-1 for as well, though I'm not sure if there are others to add to that list in terms of answering capabilities.

Can anybody confirm if the PD's are still operating on seperate PL's on 155.19 since they switched over to NWBC?

And yet there is this County trunked system and a County 911 Center in Mahwah.
