Curious notice on ScanAmerica:

"The group providing the St Paul/Minneapolis feed has had to shut it down for now, they're working on some arrangements to get it online again."

Not so curious, the feed was taken offline essentially at the request (but not order) of the government. This was done because the club does have emergency response duties during the convention and maintaining government relations is important. They seem to be much more heavy handed than they were in Denver.

Some efforts are being made to return the feed to the Internet by persons not affiliated with the Gopher Amateur Radio Club.

Thanks, Ben. I assumed it was something like that but didn't want to start a whole thread of conjecture and ranting!

Great job,

Back on...

I just lost this feed.....Just went OFF...Gone....Nada !!!!

Steve/KB8FAR

It's back. A little jumbled at times. Broken transmissions too. Audio warbles some.....But, good listening....

Well.......Maybe there is a limit on how long it will let you listen, just went off again....I'm finished....

My connection has been kind of funky the past few days. That's part of the problem. The scanner is inside too, sometimes the signal gets a bit garbled. But i think the connection issues is the biggest problem at the moment, and there isn't much i can do about that, blame comcast for that one. But the traffic is quite interesting at the moment with the protesters marching to the X.

Have you tried listening off of a different tower? Here in Blaine, the only one I can get a good signal from is Anoka Co.

Things haven't been all that interesting most of the day, but LTAC 3 has been getting pretty interesting the last 15-20 minutes or so, sounds like they have some marchers starting to cause trouble over near the State Capitol.

Now is when I wish I had 2 digital scanners, then I could listen to the RNC stuff and the local stuff at the same time.

I'm on the ramsey co tower. Seems to give me the strongest most consistent signal here.
