I notice a lot of Military helicopters Around the Rochester airport, I would think that they are coming out of the New York Army National Guard base station there.
Does anyone have a up to date list of frequencies to listen to, so I can pick up these helicopters. Don't know if they have Air/Air frequencies they use all the time.

Still can't find the frequencies the military helicopters are using, could be I am not picking them up because they are flying too low.

Should be heard on Rochester Approach 119.550/269.600 or 123.700/322.300 but they do operate at low altitude.
I don't believe the 126.2 frequency is valid.

Thanks for the information, I was hoping to find any AIR/AIR frequencies they would use to talk to one another but no luck so far, I really think it's because they are so low, I can't pick them up in Fort Erie Ont. I'll keep trying.

Correction on the frequency should be 269.6. Can you hear any other traffic on the ROC approach frequencies? I think you are too far away. If they are operating out your way you should hear them on BUF approach.

I hear them on 242.400 Air to Air most of the time they are up. They usually come down the Niagara River and then turn at the Hamburg Airport and head direct back to Rochester.

I'll keep a listen to 242.400 to see if I pick up anything.

ANG helicopters generally talk to ATC on VHF. Most of what you hear on UHF (for ATC) would be fighters and bombers.
