A big player in the new MN A.R.M.E.R. radio system in the Rochester and Olmsted County area will be the "World Famous" MAYO CLINIC. Mayo Clinic provides medical services for Southeastern Minnesota, Western Wisconsin and Northern Iowa. They provide ambulance services and 3 Medical Helicopters.
Mayo Clinic also has a satellite facility in Scottsdale, AZ and in Jacksonville, FL. In recent years, they had a location in the country of Jordon
to serve Royal Family of Jordon.
The Mayo Clinic takes up nearly all of the downtown area of Rochester.
It also provides medical services to the Federal Prison Medical Center in Rochester.
Over the years, Mayo Clinic has provided medical care for several Presidents of the USA and many well known world leaders.
At times in Rochester the security is very tight!
