As of today it seems they have finally found how to have encryption on their own trunked system (from the beginning) and the linked talkgroup on RACOM.
That leaves their Fireground Blue on their system that is linked to 800 Blue on RACOM in the clear.

As of monday 12/13 they are in the clear again.

In a previous life, Racom seemed to hire a lot of part time firefighters and law enforcement, but not that many knowledgeable technicians. Many showed up to site without a multimeter, butt set, tone wand, or hand tools.....calling for tech support at every turn. I did like that they sold Harris and Tait systems though.
