Tune up the scanners for Hall and GSP. They are concentrating in the Gainesville area. State route 53, I-985 corridor. Fox 5 had this on the weekend warning for traffic.

Haven't heard GSP on the dtrs, Mike. Some traffic on their own freqs. Lots on the Event TG's though. Lot of activity on the SO and Gainesville TG's. They're encrypted though.

I saw them the other day coming up 985...most with lights flashing. Bet it sent chills up some people splines that saw them coming up in their rear views esp those stoners...kind of like what you would see in a cheech and chong movie.

Now did notice no cops coming to work from north 365 but last night coming home they did have a road side check set up on exit ramp going to hwy 129.

Thank you. An excellent link. My first mistake was to relay what Fox 5's morning traffic person called the task force. But, as I pointed out: lots of cops doing lots of stops Most active late at night and on the weekends. If you are familiar with the area they have targeted, there are a lot of 41I's. Put Hall co FD in to hear. I try to leave early from a friend's house in Gainesville due to the impaired driving habits witnessed.

The most active area this summer is going to be in Carrol County, which has the highest number of fatalities per cap. I know the GSP Nighthawks task force is going to be detailed there more than once and they usually only patrol buckhead area.

Also GOHS is doing it regular gamut of activities this summer all over the state. I always enjoy the dinners they put on before doing a road check. Nothing like getting full of spaghetti before having to chase a drunk on foot a few hundred yards.
