Rothesay PD and Fire

Does anyone know what happened with Rothesay PD and KV Fire dept.? I can only pick them up now when i'm out int the KV area. I live on the east side of SJ and I should be able to hear them, especially now that they are dispatched by SJ PSCC.

They used to have their own dispatch and I could hear them no problem. I even used to live on the west side (further away) and was able to receive their transmissions. I thought where they are dispatched by SJ now that the signal would be even stronger but, doesn't seem like the case.

Anyone have any ideas or notice any issues?

I know that KVFD switched frequencies from 153.770 to 153.005 recently

Thanks for the info. I checked my scanner to make sure I have that updated frequency, I do. Still not hearing them or Rothesay PD. Are they still 412.6375?

I just heard ComCentre talk to Grand Bay fire. I heard them just fine and again I live east, closer to KV. Weird, something's up.

Hmm I thought it was just me i recently was given a new mobile antenna and out of the blue i stopped hearing anything from RPD interesting if i find anything out i will post back.
They are being dispatched from Comcenter but i was told they are simply using a mobile radio for dispatch there have been no changes regarding repeaters or anything . I used to hear them quite well but Comcenter was always low while the cars actually in KV were easier to hear and you would hear the cars sometimes asking Com to repeat the last message so maybe that has something to do with it ?

Anyone know anything more about this ? I have heard some random car to car chatter the last few nights but thats it . I work the graveyard shift so i listen to the scanner all night from about 2am to 7 or so have not heard Comcenter at all on the RPD freq. Wondering if they are maybe being dispatched by cell ? Or maybe they are switching over to the Saint John trunk ? Maybe they just changed freq's ?

They are still using 412.6375 Repeater for Rothesay Police
Also they have a new simplex frequency licensed a few months ago 408.6375

KVFD also has a new simplex 150.455
