RS 197 Simulcast Breakup

Can anyone suggest a change of adjusting one of the specs under the pgm-function-glob #ing that will help this problem,...The 'ATT" does not help, tried various rubber ducks which does help sometimes, some days are perfect but there are times it's bad,...My Uniden 996P2s do not suffer this problem at all,...TY

There's no "one setting solves all" when dealing with simulcast distortion. You'll have to experiment to see what works best for you. With that said, see suggestions here: 2.1.2 GRE/RS/Whistler

That scanner is not designed to work in that environment location is everything

i fixed it with the uniden SDS100.

I use this yagi indoors on mine.Sometimes i need to change direction on it.And i am only .8 of a mile from the closet tower.Any settings were of no use.https://www.amazon.com/Directional-...ntenna&qid=1774717368&sprefix=,aps,160&sr=8-3

Also try different locations in your house and different aerials.
