Trying to name "Scan List " , went to prog, GLOB , scroll to ScanList , scroll toTag and filled it out, pressed "Save" three times but the name does not show up....What did I miss TY

I have followed the manual as you printed perfect over and over and found same in manual but can't get it to work, what line changes the first line that has the SL# with the channel # and TGRP plD or third or fourth line where my channel is tagged and RadioID .....I have had and been programming the 197 for 10 years but never put in the SL Tag
The scanlist tag doesn't show under a talkgroup id.
Only show when activing a scanlist by using a number or when scanning. When scanning multiple lists the tags come on so quick to really read them

It is far easier and faster to use use programming software. For the Pro-197 there are 3 choices: ARC500, Win500, and PSREdit500. I prefer Butel ARC500. ARC500 Basic is all you need to program your scanner. You can download and install all 3 for a free trial period to see which one you like.

What is your city and county in Illinois and what are you attempting to monitor. On the Pro-197, the scan list name does not show while scanning a trunked system, only the name of the system. The scan list name only shows for an instant when you turn the scan list on or off.
Ok, when I search and "Stor" a frequency I now see the "Scanlist label on the third line , not what I thought it would be , thanx to all for your help ,
