It was publicized several months ago that all of the major bus lines will be having armed security using a security contractor. I passed by one of the contractors today and they definitely had a Motorola Radio. I couldn’t tell what frequency they were on, but I would imagine they were using a channel from RTC SNACC. Although I wonder with them being a private security contractor, how that would work

The operators of the buses themselves are actually also a private contractor: Keolis Evolve in Las Vegas, NV The RTCs have had armed & unarmed security for many years, but it seems like they did just recently switch to a new contractor. Listening to RTC bus drivers & the security channels really make me thankful I've got my own vehicle...

It's actually Transdev that operates the busses. Security is now Inter-con. I wondered myself as Inter-Con does have frequencies in the Vegas area. I also get the idea they either cannot or are not allowed to get on actual RTC frequencies based on numerous chats with some of the more helpful security officers.
