It treats anything not in the alias list as unknown, even tg's that have been identified. Identified to SDRT would be if the tg is in the alias list.
The OP only download departments of interest to him. Any identified tg's in the departments that he did not download would be treated as unknown with the tg range alias set.
Here is MRRS with only District 1 & 2 downloaded and the tg range alias set to no listen/record.
The end result. Only D 1 & 2 show. No other tg's get recorded. It's good for people who have zero interest in id'ing any new tg's on a system and just want to listen to specific talkgroups.
