Rural Metro Fire 2 Tone Signaling

Looks like RMFD is switching from DTMF to 2 tone signaling. Now I can use the 2 tone signaling feature on the Uniden scanner and don't have to listen to all the other dispatches. Now if they would only fix their audio issues. Half the time it is to low and noisy. I am in San Tan Valley and am only interested in station 841 which have Tone A of 767.1 and Tone B of 1006.7.

How did you figure out the tones?

I wonder why change - seems like a lot of programming work for them.

I use a Uniden BCD996XT which has a tone scanning feature.
