Once in a while when the F-16s return to Selfridge, they do S.F.O's. - Simulated Flame Outs. They do a low approach over the runway and pitch way up to what they call "high key". Once they have reached "high key", they circle above the base and pitch down to what they call "low key". "High key is the maximum altitude I presume and "low key" is the pattern altitude I presume. Anyone know what altitude "high key" is?
I heard a KC-135R cancel his refueling with someone this morning due to weather. According to what I heard, "his" receiver was already in the air. I wonder where "Piston" was headed to?
