Enhanced local reception going on now. Most signals that I don't normally hear are S-5, the normal freqs. are full scale. It started Friday night around 11:00PM local time and it's still happening this morning, I got up @ 5:00AM just too see.
What I'm seeing is the low end of the band; freqs. below 129 Mhz are enhanced, Above that, signal strengths are just average. I can hear one particular VOR with a S-5 that I normally just get a S-1. Haven't heard any distant stations over 50 miles away. I'll bet the 88-108 FM Band DX is great. I trap that band out so I can't find out.
