Mock Drill

USAA also had a mock drill at this time which involved exploding tanker truck on Fredericksburg Rd. Real close to #37's station. SAFD and Airlife were involved in this drill.

what does USAA use for communications now? There security use to be on UHF but that was a long time ago...don't get out near USAA much anymore any one know?

Yes, I believe they were in 400Mhz. somewhere. Not sure what they are using now. Perhaps someone else knows.

I think that USAA uses a 450-465 MHZ LTR system.

If I remember correctly, USAA is on a LTR-Passport system.

I stand corrected on the last post. USAA is not on an Passport system, but as was stated previously, they are LTR.
