a Tampa Bay Sams club was on 154.600 DPL 131 but they have been quiet on that frequency for months so I went in there today with my SDS100. I've also seen radios that are orange and grey. i ran the SDS100 on all the MURS and a variety of itinerants and got no hits, i also ran close call, no hits.
historically this would be a very busy day for radios.

I've done searching but didn't come up with anything, even google AI said Sams club (in general) were still using a handful of MURS Freqs

do any of you know if some Sams/Walmart have moved to another common freq, perhaps digital or SS?

They were since the dawn of time, alas times are changing. All are slowly changing to a DLR DTR series radio that has a private hopset.

I can’t say that I’m surprised. Once it was figured out that you could grab a $20 Baofeng and cause major issues It was just a matter of time before they had to do something about it. I went to a local Walmart back in May and some idiot was broadcasting racial slurs, and sex sounds over their radios. I went back a few weeks later and they had gone digital.

I think it was more since motorola discontinued the RDM2070d series, they had to move to something else. They can't use the regular business radios because they require licensing, the whole reason walmart went to murs because they were busted operating unlicensed on business freqs too many times. Motorola now sells unlicensed business radios that are either wifi or 900 digital FHSS or they can use a PTT wifi app on their new handhelds,... they had that PTT feature on their old zebra TC handhelds but wasn't used at the time over the rdm2070d walkies

My local Sam's uses Zello installed in their android/smartphone looking like barcode scanner and Walmart uses MagOne (BPR40) running analog
