Any one have any insight if this rumor I heard is true? I also heard that all departments are moving over to P25 (AARS). If anyone has info it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I'm sure Blanton would know basics with his connections or be willing to share a yes or no. If yes it wouldn't surprise me. I use to be against a lot but as time changes as a small system admin I push for it more due to issues I will not get into in our times. The common pound sand for most. Is it shame for other persons who would be vetted well outside a area who visit in loops? Yes but sign of times in some places it's needed sadly.
Yes SAPD and BCSO are going encrypted with some channels coming online. All are being discussed in the primary AARS system thread right now.
