San Benito County Fire/ Hollister Fire

For >5 years, incidents north of town and in the San Juan Bautista area including the Hwy 101 corridor, they'll often switch to: "Fire North" on 156.1200.

No idea why the prior San Bentio thread is locked, I used the Submittal tool for this.

Thanks. Perhaps, but when Fire units use it they announce to Netcom Dispatch, "Switching to North". I wouldn't think they need to do that if its the input side they are changing? Might just be habit...

North is Fremont peak South is call mountain

"North" and "South" are the same repeater pair, just switching input tones.

And "South" they switch to South of Ridgemark CC on H25. Thanks!
