San Bernardino Sheriff Call Signs

Okay I've got the patrol stations figured out (16pxx Big Bear Lake City unit 6dxx Big Bear Station detective 14X23 Yucaipa traffic etc). On tg 1200 (database shows old Marshall's office) there is a lot of traffic. Some of it sounds like transport units and others like warrant/fugitive and process serving. All the units have call signs starting 92. Some are P units others T,V,I, and Z. They also frequently call into Homar (Omar?).

Anybody have a definitive idea about these units or what Homar is?

I was told the old marshall channel is now the probation channel, but I haven't been able to confirm it.

I haven't worked there since 1998, but when I was there, the 90-series numbers were City PD's who were on the SBSD CAD system, notably Colton and Rialto. What's happened since then is anyone's guess...

Okay that makes sense. Their county wide and all the transports I notice, now that I'm paying attention, are from courts to juvie halls

Speaking of sheriff unit identifiers, I have been hearing a lot of what sounds like "Met" units recently (for example: 16Met1, 14Met2...).
Of course, it's difficult to verify that this is exactly what they are saying, but I can't find "met" in either socalscan or scannerstuff databases.
Does anyone know what it stands for?

Major Enforcement Team.

Specialized unit that focuses on one set of problems. Could be Traffic, Narc, High Crime area suppression or even parking near school buses nabbing people who run past the red light when kids are getting off the bus.

Whatever an areas CAPT. desires they majorly enforce, those are the guys that do it.

Your only missing 14 which is Yucaipa City units and 22 which is Chino Hills City units

4 (Yucaipa Station) covers the unincorporated areas of Yucaipa like Mentone and Angelus Oaks. 2 (Chino Hills Station) covers the unincorporated areas of the west end of the county

TG 1200 is SB County Probation, 92 units. A "Home-R" means the probation officer is doing a residential visit.
