Hello All!
Everyone in the San Diego area is aware that the RCS system [Motorola
II] accomodates both digital and analong transmissions. With this
system, each time the scanner intercepts a digital signal, you get the
"buzzzzzz", as though you were on a data channel. With the PRO-95,
it's not possible to just hit the "l/out" button and dispense with the
matter.
With more and more San Diego transmissions going digital, I'd really
like to, somehow, lock out the digital id's. I do use the WIN95
program. [Thank you Don Starr!] Is there a limit to the number of
lockouts the scanner's database will hold?
I've gotten no response from any other group that I've posted with.
Can anyone give me the "step-by-step" for locking them out? I'm not
refering to the ones that are stored, just the ones encountered while scanning.
Many thanks for taking the time to respond!
