The last item I read on the newly formed city's website is that training and equiping new apparatus is underway. Does anyone have information about what talkgroups they will use? I assume they will remain on the Fulton Co TRS? Will they operate out of four existing county stations? Did they aquire any of Fulton Co FDs' equipment or buy all new stuff? Will they participate in mutual aid with Atlanta/Cobb/DeKalb/Roswell?
I know, lotsa questions, but it's my old stomping ground.

Okay, I will try and answer some of the questions...

This evening 12/19 they had the formal swearing in of the FD at the start of the council meeting...

All new vehicles (Pierce) engs (1 & 2), quints (1 2 3 4) , 2 forestry, 3 Expeditions.

Existings Stations renumbered

6 -> 1
2 -> 2
22 -> 3
4 -> 4

Fulton System, new talk groups... All new Motorols XTS & XTL radios.

December 28th I think is the first in service date..

Sounds like Sandy Springs Fire.

Heard them this morning while in "Search" mode on my 785 on the Fulton TRS. I did not note the TG's but I heard radio check. Approx 9:00 this morning. Maybe you can search the Fulton TRS during that time and pick up the TalkGroups.

A minor update from me, SS is being dispatched on FUlton COunty Dispatch and then moving to old FUlton COunty TAC2 when on the fireground.

I've been doing some logging on the Fulton system. There are still some of the old Type 1 TGIDs being used but I definitely heard Sandy Springs FD on the regular Fulton Fire Dispatch and then move to ID 47248 which they called Sandy Springs TAC1. I haven't been able to determine if the old IDs for Fulton FD TAC1, 2, 3, 4, Admin, are still in use.
