I have a hd1 tuner I want to know if I get a crane tfc antenna if it would be dx worthy thanks dan

Right now I'm using it to record coast and fm dx but don't know how it would do for am dx with proper antenna

Most tuners and stereos will hear MW stations, sure, but I think they lack the flexibility and selectivity (so important, particularly if you're chasing stations on the 9 Khz splits that are common everywhere but here in the US...) to be real DX machines. I'm not into MW DXing, but know of quite a few that are...

A good box loop would wake up just about any radio, but you will have limitations...Mike
