I live in Schenectady County. My SDS200 is connected to my dipole antenna which is in my attic at the peek, 3rd story. I monitor Albany Schenectady Renns and Saratoga County for PD Fire EMS. Typically no issues. Coax is 100 feet of LMR400. Since my antenna is in the attic I know my signal is comprimised but for all but Saratoga Co I get a very strong signal. As of 2 months ago I would receive Saratoga Co with no issues but maybe a 1 to 2 bar strength. It then went mostly silent. My filters were turned off. I tried the wide invert filter and my reception improved and was happy. Last week Saratoga County went silent on the SDS200 but my BC536 which is setup for analog would pickup the transmissions on the analog side. I am not sure if I am having some rf interference from time to time. Right now I am receiving Saratoga Co nice and clear with 3 to 4 signal strength. My other thought was maybe Saratoga Co is having issues with their transmitter. Is anyone else having similar issues.
