Ok, first thing I like to do when multiple dongles are in play is to assign them a number in the eeprom. Not difficult, but a little daunting. I will edit this post a few times with links that have directions.

I think you are set to go to command line or get the rtltool from the other thread. Do them with one dongle attached at a time.
I downloaded a tool I started from cmd and changed the one dongles properly and it still won't start up, I've tried 6 times, someone said my dongles look fake and they are too, but I get everything else I don't need lol.

I'm late to the party but it looks like 2 things going on. If dongles are showing as bulk in, and not being recognized in certain software, thats a job for Zadig. That installs the correct driver for the dongle.

If your trying to use 2 dongles and having issues because the serial numbers are the same, then thats a job for one of those programs that flash the eeprom. Personally, I have never renumbered a dongle as I never had an issue and use 3 nooelec dongle at the same time in Sdrtrunk.

But I did set up RtlTool.exe incase I ever needed to.

My dongles all work, or did, a couple of them died from overheating, I guess. I haven't been scammed on radio stuff on Ebay yet, but I was scammed on a diecast car that was totally different, and 1/64 instead of 1/18 scale, as advertised. They wanted to give me first a 10%, then a 25% refund. Paypal gave me a full refund and the seller got the boot, at least under that name.
